What We Are Looking For:

Someone that will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, organizing and execution of the Information Technology within the global business. This includes directing all IT operations to meet internal and external customer requirements, as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Direct the Development and Management of all Information Technology activities.
  • Responsible for the procurement and implementation of: Hardware, Software, Networks, WAN/LAN, VPN, Internet, Intranet and Telecommunications.
  • Develop and maintain effective Information Technology management systems, including Intranet and Internet systems.
  • Direct the evaluation, development and activities of Information Technology staff.
  • Responsible for interface with global locations to coordinate global IT activities.
  • Responsible for establishing and achieving annual Information Technology goals consistent with corporate strategic goals.
  • Develop, Architect and deploy IT infrastructure to leverage cloud services platform
  • Develop and implement hardware refresh cycles to assure infrastructure security and reliability
  • Select and partner with MSP (Managed Services Providers) to supplement and complement capabilities within IT department to support business needs
  • Develop and manage the annual Information Technology budget, incorporating all global locations.
  • Responsible for establishing IT Policies and Procedures providing for adequate protection of corporate technology assets.
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
  • Promote strong company image and maintain positive working relationships at all times including professional behavior with customers, vendors, and co-workers, including management (daily basis).
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Perform work according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Here's What You'll Need:

Education:

Degree in Computer Science, or other business related field.

Experience:

10+ year experience managing Information Technology departments on a global basis.

Strong project management experience.

Strong & proven communication & collaboration skills and can effectively interface with executive team

Solid experience managing teams with diverse skill sets.

Other:

Advanced working relationship skills to effectively guide and support management team colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to bring the benefits of IT to solve business issues while also managing costs and risk.

Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement to diverse business & employment problems.

Management/Leadership/Motivation skills.

Advanced oral and written communication skills.

Advanced computer skills, emphasis on MS Office products - Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Knowledge/ Exposure to Manufacturing, Financial, Internet, Intranet, WAN/LAN, VPN, EDI

Antivirus and Telecommunication systems.

Knowledge/Exposure to Programming Language (RPG IV/ILE/HTML/JAVA).

Hardware: Midrange-AS400, Routers and servers.
