Key Accountabilities:Root cause identification and countermeasure for complex problemsData analysis for identification of improvement activitiesCompletion of studies (project/plant characteristic impacts)Work closely with other engineering groups to develop solution and implement countermeasuresManage projects (Mass production)Develop processes from drawingWork with production team to understand new processesWork with counterparts in other NA plants to understand change pointsData analysis/trend identificationMaintaining/achieving production targets (budgets/efficiency/quality/delivery)Support process training (work with FLL and Quality to effectively train Production Associates)Continuous ImprovementSupport project (i.e. New Model projects, New Model Build events, capacity changes, etc.) Qualifications, Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent related experiencePrefer intern or co-op experience (1-2 terms) or related work experience at two yearsStrong continuous improvement mindset; MS office; problem solving/decision making skills; project management capabilities Working Conditions:Shift offset / rotation when needed, weekend work when neededTravel is minimalSome OT requiredWhat differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
