This Operating Room Nurse position is in a single-specialty urology outpatient surgery center. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on pre-operative, intra-operative, and phase I post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) duties. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative patient care and preparation.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Provide phase I post-operative care in the PACU.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Maintain a sterile surgical field.
- Document patient care accurately and completely.
- Collaborate with other members of the surgical team.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience in perioperative nursing (OR/PACU).
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Cerner (Electronic Health Record).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- No call, weekends, or holidays.
- 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM shift.
- 13-week assignment.
- Outpatient surgery center setting.
- Three pre-op bays, three PACU bays, and two operating rooms.
Scheduling:
- 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday.
- No call, weekends, or holidays.
- 13-week assignment.
