Description

Lummus Technology is currently seeking a talented Order Fulfillment Specialist to be part of our global catalyst sales support. Reporting to the head of Sales Operations, this position will help oversee the seamless execution of our order management system.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and be a good team player. Lummus needs a "get-it-done" type of person who works well with multiple teams and is very responsive to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review customer orders to ensure feasibility and compliance to delivery terms and dates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order status, shipping details, and issue resolution
  • Ensure accurate processing of customer orders, from receipt of purchase orders to delivery of products
  • Prepare and collect all shipping documentations
  • Work closely with suppliers and shipping partners to optimize delivery timelines and costs
  • Track and report on order status and delivery timeline
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, supply chain, and inventory teams to prioritize and manage orders
  • Collaborate on demand planning and forecasting
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales and shipping activities
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement process enhancements for faster and cost-effective order fulfillment
  • Prepare yearly report to provide insights and recommendations for improving our order management process

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics or supply chain
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in order management and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Must be able to quickly learn complex software.
  • Strong proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
