Production Supervisor

Bilinski Sausage Manufacturing Co.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year  

Hours:  Mon-Sat with (1) weekday off,  6:00am-4:30pm or until production is finished.   Must be available to work Saturdays.

Located in Cohoes NY,  Bilinski’s Sausage Mfg Co. (a leader in producing high-quality, all-natural sausages) is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our 1st Shift production operations. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production and packaging operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of packaging materials.
• Collaborate with quality control to maintain product integrity and address any issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce production procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure they are in optimal condition.
• Fill in, as needed, on the line to assist the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading teams as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to work Saturday.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., HACCP) and education  is a plus.
