Job Description

A Newport Beach executive couple, with two adult children and grandchildren, is seeking to hire a chef or cook who is passionate about fresh ingredients. Our organic garden, located just ten minutes from the estate, supplies our organic produce. The clients have high visual standards. The position requires residence at the property, with a separate apartment provided, furnished or unfurnished. We plan to conduct in-person interviews in July, with an anticipated start date in August. Responsibilities: Schedule lunch twice to three times per week. Arrange dinner four to five times per week. Prepare organic, fresh meals for guests attending weekly dinners. Assume comprehensive responsibility for meal planning, cooking, and table setting. Lead and oversee vendors, gardening service, and housekeeping staff. Qualifications: Hospitality-focused with a genuine passion for service excellence Intrinsically motivated and proactive, demonstrating initiative and reliability Maintains a high level of discretion, professionalism, and sophistication Physically fit and hands-on, capable of meeting the demands of a dynamic estate environment Demonstrates sincere appreciation for the opportunity to support a unique, high-caliber estate Possesses a positive, team-oriented attitude and authentic personal presence Brings a complementary skill set that enhances and supports the existing staff Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with the option for weekend work as needed. Compensation: We are offering a competitive salary in the range of $125,000 to $160,000, with an expected annual bonus of 10% to 20%.
